The thing that amazes me most about East Texas is the natural beauty of the land. It is a land that has seen Indians, wagon trains, slavery and eventually growth into larger more modern cities. I truly feel that the area has so much to offer that it could take years to even put a dent into the sites and places one can visit. In fact, it can be overwhelming when one has a short period of time. I do not pretend to be psychologist but thought answering some questions could narrow down the areas that one may choose to ride? I will be happy to put together a (recommended) ride package when your booking is made. Of course, you may choose to read the East Texas Rides page, view the maps upon arrival and plan your own adventure? Give me an idea of the roads you prefer to travel and the things you like to do and I will map out a few routes that should be of interest to you! We are here to see you enjoy your time in East Texas so be honest in your responses and enjoy the miles and miles of fantastic riding, sites and food. I do want to mention one thing that amazes me about riding here. There are those days when one wants a "slow, enjoy life" cruise down the back roads. I have been more than impressed with the patience and courtesy of the cage drivers. With the exception of very few I would have to say these are the friendliest people I have been associated with. Stop at a small store or restaurant and be prepared for the locals to come over asking about your bike and then telling you about theirs!
We own the 8 acres to the right of this road. Our next phase of rental units will be smaller cabins but more of them.
Historical sites, twisty roads, Wineries, shows, chain restaurants, Movies, Bowling, hole in the wall restaurants!!! It's all so confusing!!
